We are excited to announce that we launched a Demo of the Traderly platform on the 1st of May. It was never in our initial plan to release any pre-release version or an incomplete platform. However, we did receive some comments that it would be necessary. There are numerous projects out there that have no actual product in development (or in some cases, never plan to develop a product) and we would have to showcase that Traderly is a ‘real’ project that is well on its way to completion.
We must make a couple of things clear about the demo. The demo platforms main goal is to illustrate the capabilities, look and feel of the Traderly platform only and it does have limitations.
Missing – The “Market Watch” and “Trading Terminal” pages are not available in this demo. We have not completed its functionality or design yet. We decided to remove this completely rather than to provide a misrepresentation of what it ‘could’ look like.
Mobile – The demo was not optimized for mobile devices. The demo is only the desktop version of the platform, suitable for screen resolution of 1280×800 and above. We are currently developing Android and iOS mobile applications as indicated on our roadmap. The mobile (and tablet) versions of Traderly will be developed at the same time as many the design will largely be the same across smaller devices.
Functionality – All user input has been disabled. This includes; creating accounts, connecting accounts, posting, simulating, following and uploading. We removed all backend integrations and 3rd party API connections.
Data – All the data on the platform is made up. We manually populated the site and database with fake data that does not represent real people or performance statistics.
We will be publishing a post about the full functionality and overview of the platform soon. Join our Telegram News Channel to be notified first and to stay up to date with our development.
